Alex Tew wanted some money to pay for university education so he came up with a very interesting idea to make money. A pixel for a dollar. He made a website where a big square consisting of 1,000,000 pixels was displayed. All 1,000,000 were available to purchase, and once purchased you get to display whatever you want as long as it could fit. People took notice of this site and it went viral. Soon many were eager to purchase pixels to show adds to there business and have a permanent spot in internet history. A few months later Alex Tew was a millionaire. He later went on to be one of the founders of the successful meditation app Calm.
